When Nietzsche Wept by Yalom
Feb. 14th, 2010 11:59 pmI finished reading When Nietzsche Wept by Yalom in January and had no time to write about this book.
I liked reading it, even though at times it was pretty boring. The most exciting part was at the end. I really enjoyed the twist and couldn’t put the book down until I finished it. I am not going to give out the twist though...
I just went to youtube and the first thing in my suggested clips was the movie When Neitzsche Wept.
Well, the book is a novel and there was not much of the biography or truth about Neitzsche or Freud, yet I wished it would have been historical truth.
After watching the clip of the movie, I was glad that I read the book first. I guess it was a B movie and acting was not great. Plus, the story is somewhat boring. Yet, I enjoyed the slow drag in words, thoughts and discussions from philosophical point of view.
