November has been super busy and eventful.   I would usually write about  each event separately but I don’t have any time for that, so I will have to just make this list for myself with some resources.

In the past few weeks, there have been so many different events and things that I wanted to write about.  I am getting overwhelmed and sad that I wouldn't be able to cover all of it.  So, I will mention a few things to remember for .myself.

There was an event by American Coaches Association  The Great Masters of Art Reveal the Secrets to a New Paradigm:  Navigating Change at Midlife and Beyond.  It was presented by Fred Mandell.  It was an interesting presentation.  I really liked one exercise that we did.  We were given a copy of a horse drawing and we had to copy it onto our big pieces of paper with a black chuck.  The drawing of the horse was supposed to be upside down.

I had a limiting belief that I can not draw at all.  I always believed that my mind and hand coordination for drawing are absolutely not coordinated, however, this exercise proofed me wrong!  I copied the horse and it really looked like a horse on the original drawing.  It was a wonderful aha moment for me.  Also, Dr. Mandell kept showing us that at any age we need to challenge and reinvent ourselves.  DO NOT stuck with doing things the same way, walking the same routes buying the same foods.

During that workshop I was seating at the table with a few people who attended my MCDA session during Spring Conference.  They recognized me and told me that they really liked my session.  It was nice to hear and it also felt  weird.

During MCDA conference a few weeks ago there was a keynote speaker William Arruda who is “personal branding guru” and who represents personal branding company 360Reach.  During the conference Willaim gave all attendees a password to become premium members of 360 Reach for 45 days.  This tool includes a lot of personal assessments plus an assessment that you can send out to everyone that knows you.  It is pretty cool to see what other people think of you.  The responses are anonymous, so I don’t know who said what.  After so many responses are collected, the 360Reach will generate a report for me helping me define my brand based on mine and other people’s feedback and generate goals related to my traits.

I sent out 35 requests and got some responses back.  I would love to get more.  So, if you were one of those people who got an e-mail from 360Reach with my name in the Subject, please, complete that form.  It is very simple and could be done in less then 3 minutes.

You can also do the same for yourself!

I will share the results of my report once it is done.

Last week was packed with excitement and stress for me.  It is funny, how things usually get together around the same time.  This month of April has been packed with a lot of events.

It started with Passover, my dad’s big party with guests from out of town and my dance performance + preparation for the party entertainment, taxes, super busy at work, Michael’s teacher parent conference, Micheal's big school carnival, my business trip to Wisconsin with a presentation and MCDA conference presentation during the same week.  Also, Michael has a big event next Friday at the synagogue; his grandparents will take him there.  And of course our vacation!

I was very nervous about my two presentations and both of them went very well.  I was excited about the MCDA presentation and thanks to Jessica it also went very well.  Out of all evaluation reviews (35+), only one was not very happy.  During the rest of the conference, people continued to stop by and talk to me about our presentation.  I was very excited.

I attended interesting sessions and enjoyed the keynote speaker.  I was too excited about my presentation and my concentration level was very low during the sessions.  I would need to review my notes to see if I learned anything new and useful.

Now, I am ready, and too excited about our vacation!

EXCITED is the key word that I repeat in every sentence!  LOL :)
