I am not a big fan of soccer but it had been pretty exciting to follow Soccer World Cup 2010.  Well, it is exciting to follow it every time.  The most exciting world cup for me was in 1998 when I studied in London and we went to Paris during the World Cup in France.

I remember that there was one game that England won and London was loudly celebrating it on the streets.  There was a lot of music, screaming, painted fans and a lot of fun energy in the city.  All tabloids praised their team.  The whole city screamed happily when England scored.

One day, we took train from London to Paris and there were a lot of soccer fans on the train who were going to see the game.  We had fun communicating with drunken guys from Scotland in Scottish skirts (skirts were real with no underwear). Girls from our class decided to take a picture with these guys and the guys raised their skirts for the picture.   The view was speechless!

In Paris, they had huge screens that people could watch the games on.  We went on top of the Eifel Tower and we could watch soccer from there on one of those big screens.  We didn't have time to watch soccer, because it was our Art History class and we had to visit a lot of museums, including Louvre, and a lot of architectural structures.

Then, one of the weekends we went to Ireland and got to watch a world cup game in the real Irish pub in Galway.  We got pretty drunk there and had a great time.

Today Spain played against Germany.  I have watched both games that German team played it those games were awesome to watch.  It was really cool to see the team work and 4 goals +.  Today, I thought that German team will win again but was very excited to learn that Spain was wining 0:1.

Boris bet on Spain and I was happy for him and his choice.  I was at work and couldn’t follow the game.  I was just picking on the internet to check the score when I had a second.
