clock or not?

We have been having an argument with my 2.5 year old Michelle. 
I downloaded Russian alphabet game on my smart phone and gave her to play.  It shows a picture and the letter that the word begins with.  For letter “T” they have a picture of a rotary phone looking something like this:

Michelle looks at it and tells me that it is “часики” (clock).  I tell her it is a telephone and she is “часики” (clock).  I tell her it is letter "T" stands for Telephone, and she tells me “"нет, это часики!"(NO, It is Clock!)

She is right, she has never seen this type of telephone!
