Last night we had to leave M&M at other grandparents because we had an important appointment with my parents and I wanted Boris to be there to to help understand things if I wouldn’t. So, after the daycare, Boris took M&M to his parents. His mom was still at work and his dad was home alone.

In about 1.5 hours we came to pick kids up and my father-in-law tells me that Michael is a star!!! Grandpa (70+) was super impressed with Michael (7). What happened?

Michael suggested that grandpa would take two of them to the park to the playground as he usually does when they come to visit him. Grandpa was ready to go. However, Michael (7) told him to hold on because they need to change Michelle’s diaper. Grandpa has never changed any diapers before didn’t know what to do. Michael told him not to worry because he will do it himself!

Michelle did #2 and really needed diaper change. Grandpa gave her mini shower and Michael put the clean diaper on her. Of course, they messed up bed cover where they were changing her and in the evening when I was changing her diaper, it was super funny. The diaper was seating very well on her, only it was connected on the back instead of the tummy side.

Also, I was impressed that Michelle was OK with them changing her and she was not running away as she does when I do it.
