ahka | Michael's Spring break

This week Mishka was on spring break. We did not plan any family vacations this year and probably must start planning now for next year. Since Sunday night he asked to stay over at his grandparents and ended up being there the whole week.

There were other kids his age on spring break at the daycare and Dylan’s parents brought Wii, so they would be actively busy.

On Monday morning, I came to the daycare to drop Michelle off before going to work and I see this picture:

it is very quite and all kids seat at their small table by the fireplace.

3 year old Girls seat on one side of the table, Michael (6.8) seats opposite of them on the other side and on the sides are two 2 year old boys watching them. I got closer and found that on the table were standing 5 different colors of nail polish. The girls spread their fingers on the table, patiently and with excitement, looking at their nails as Michael, the oldest in the whole group, making a manicure.

Michael proudly told me that he is making manicures for the girls and that he is not going to do any for the boys. He colored each nail with different color. Girls were very happy!!!

The next day, I came to pick up Michelle and Michael from the daycare and Michael told me that he will stay there overnight again. I did not mind, since I was sick. Before getting home, we set and talked with my mom as Michelle was running around, playing with her dolls and Michael was just listening to our conversation. We were talking about all of the birthdays that are on March 24^th. We have at least 4 people that we know who have birthdays on that day.

Suddenly, Mishka decided to put his 2 cents into our conversation and said with a smile:

-I know what all women, girls like!... and paused

My mom and I looked at him, then at each other, smiled and I couldn’t help but ask him with impatient curiosity:

-So, what do they like?

Instead of answering the question, he run out of the room and in a few seconds brought in a rose - flower that was made out of chocolate wrapped in red sparkling paper. Then he said:

-Girls always like flowers and chocolate!

I hope he wouldn’t forget about it when he gets older (LOL).
