Cars have gender!

In the car,  Michael (6 and a half) asked me:

-Mom how do you know that you have a girl car?

I am puzzled:

-What do you mean?   I don’t know that my car is a girl.  Why?  How did you get to this conclusion?

Michael:

-Yes, mom, there are boy and girl cars.

I started thinking, Ok, probably like in Russian, things have gender, so in Russian car (mashina) would be female gender.  After a thought I decided to ask:

-So, how do You figure it out?

Michael very seriously:

-You have to look at the headlights if headlights look COOL it means the car is a boy!

And then he started mumbling listing all car models he knows and telling me if they are male or female.  Apparently all Dodges are boys!  Who knew?!  LOL

hm... I thought it was the other way around, the ones with cute "eyes" were female.

LOL, I thought the same thing.
I was trying to clarify definition of COOL, but he is just 6 and could not explain exactly what it means. I think I should ask him at the parking lot to show me which one is COOL and which one is not :)))
