Call from teacher...#1 this year.

Just got a phone call from Michael’s morning teacher.  She told me that he has been late to every single class of hers.  She asked me if he eats breakfast in the morning.  Yes, he does and I make sure that he does and does not go hungry to school.

Another thing she told me that he is not doing the work that they are doing in class, he just seats and does nothing.  Hm…

I asked the teacher if she tells him that he must do it and that he is expected to do that work.  She said that she does tell him that and will continue to repeat it.

I am going to have a talk with him tonight…  First, I need to figure out what the heck he is doing before class that he is late.

Update:
Spoke with Michael and found out that he eats breakfast with me and Michelle at home, then at the daycare and then at school.  I asked him why he is late and he said that he likes to take his time when he eats!
I had a conversation with him that at school he has a very limited time of his own during the breaks and his work is to listen to the teachers and do all the work that needs to be done, otherwise I will have to leave him in 2nd grade again. 

Boris and I agreed that he should not eat breakfast at school anymore.  The money on his account is only for lunch.
Michael peacefully agreed on everything, complained a little about his morning teacher because she is too fast with everything and he is not catching on. 

So far he is doing homework without scandals and reads very well, so that is a huge progress from last year!!!
