Happy Sukkot!
Sep. 22nd, 2010 03:53 pmHappy Sukkot!
Today we are invited over Masha’s sukkah to celebrate beginning of Sukkot. It is a happy holiday. I am still sick and contemplating if I will go or not. I really want to but on the other hand don’t want to spread the germs.
I still have an hour to think about it and take medication, spray my nose with decongestant and just go.
Tired of being sick and sick of being tired!
Happy Holidays nevertheless!
Update:
I ended up going over Masha's with my family. We started traditional meal in the sukkah on time and it started to rain. At first it was a light rain that we ignored and then it continued for the next night and day non stop. When the water started coming down hard we took all the food into the house and were finishing the party inside.
Boris took kids home earlier and I ended up staying with Masha and Lena later. We had a nice talk and finished with Masha saying a long prayer in the sukkah while Lena and I were listening and getting wet even though we wore rain jackets. Masha was upset that it was raining. Well, it is Minnesota, not Jerusalem. I remember that every sukkot it is raining here. I have been to Vita and Garik's sukkah and it was also raining.
