movie Limitless
Jun. 13th, 2011 01:29 amWe watched movie Limitless with Boris and I actually enjoyed it. The first thought that came to my mind was “It is a typical American theme!” Everyone wants an easy way up and there is a perfect Pill that can help you. In this case a pill that helps your brain work better but then again everyone has different IQ and wrong way of using it. There are dangerous side effects too…
This movie gave a good visual to some of my life experiences. In real life one has to struggle, go through frustrations, depressions, fights, decisions, etc…. to get into the bright colored life. There were a lot of life events that took me from gray to color. The latest event that made my life go from gray to color was experience of graduate school. I guess getting forced to expend your horizons and train your brain by reading weird research articles and books that one wouldn’t read for pleasure makes the brain work at superior capacity thus causing (in my case) very positive outcome. My brain actually started working better then ever before in my life. I started to remember things better (of course the things that are important to me), I started comprehend reading materials better then ever before, I learned a lot of interesting things and got inspired by various theories and their authors of course.
I can say that my life is rich and velvety now. I am so thankful that I have an ability to see all of the bright colors that surround me. Life is so beautiful!!! Many times people don’t look far enough outside of their gray comfort zone to see it. I appreciate every white cloud in the beautiful blue sky, all of the green lawns and flowers, people that surround us, our families, our kids, our worries and our peace!
Have you had an experience that made your life brighter and colorful? What was it???
If not, I wish you will get curious and start looking hard for the way to get that experience, trust me, it’s worth every extra step and every extra move that many of us are afraid or too lazy to take!
