ahka | Michael's pearl of the day

Mishka asked us to bring him Legos from Brazil. Well, I saw some toy stores where they had Legos, only instructions were in Portuguese and Boris and I decided that we will get home and I will take him to the store so he could pick whatever reasonably priced Legos that he wanted.

So, today I picked him up from the daycare and took him to Toys R Us. We spent about 30 minutes in the Lego isle, where I got a present for our relative’s son’s birthday. Michael could not decide on any and suggested to go to some other area of the store.

Instead of Lego, I ended up getting him a skateboard with the safety gear. He was so so so happy! It was his dream to have a real skateboard and it came true!

We picked up Michelle from the daycare and went home where he put all his gear on and went to try out his skateboard.

The safety gear that we got said that it is for kids 8+. Some stuff was big but adjustable. Michael saw the sign 8+ and said to me that it is for big kids. I told him not to worry, because the skateboard is for 5+ and he is going to be 7 very soon, plus he is a very smart 6 year old.

Did you know what he said back to me? He said in English very seriously:

-Sometimes, I am very dumb 6 year old mama.
