ahka | 4 movies in 2 days

Since Friday, already managed to watch 4 movies: 2 Russian and 2 American. The two American movies were Old Dogs and Couple’s Retreat. Both were light comedies, nothing special. Watch it if you have absolutely nothing else to do or to watch. I would not watch those movies again, that’s for sure!

The two Russian movies were somewhat heavy, especially Звезда Пленительного Счастья. My mother in-law requested to watch this movie on Friday night. Boys left the room, they couldn’t stand it and two of us watched this very long, 2 series + discussion after the movie heavy heavy story about wives of Dekabristy. One has to be in this weird mood to watch such movie. It was pretty depressing and made me think about our society and people’s ideals. The characters suffered greatly, yet they made that choice intentionally. Well, there is a lot of philosophy in this movie, I don’t want to say anything more!

The 2^nd Russian movie we watched was a new movie called Черная молния. Out of 4 movies I liked this one the best. It is an interesting Russian spin on Spiderman. It was light and heavy at the same time. Mishka would have enjoyed it, only he was grounded and stayed in his room most of the day.
