I will be acting in a play on June 5^th at Minneapolis JCC. There will be two performances in one day one at 1pm and one at 4pm (I think...not sure yet). Last week we had our first cold script reading rehearsal. The script is original and not even done by now.

I will be playing a dance teacher Petrova. I am very nervous about it but will take this challenge upon myself. The kids at the theatre have done it and I am an adult who also has strength and ability to act on the stage.

I need to come up with an idea how to convince kids that classical ballet training is the basis of all dance techniques. All types of dances uses ballet technique exercises and even vocabulary of the moves to create modern dance, folk dance and even break dance. I need to come up with something more specific and example of the moves and I am totally blanking out now.
