Business and then pleasure

On Saturday, I had to wake up earlier then usually to go over my parents.  They had an appointment with a woman that would talk about final arrangements insurance.  Not a very pleasant topic but I guess an important one for people my parents’ age.  I think it is too early but they choose to do it now. 

We spent several hours with this woman and they signed up for that life insurance for the final arrangements.  We will have to meet with this woman again to see if my parents need any other programs.  She also gave them information about making the will.  I am learning a lot of stuff with these representatives.  They convince people pretty well that they need a lot of insurances when they retire. So, I am trying to sort it out and explain to my parents.

In the evening, we took kids over my in-laws and went to the Solera restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday.  It was only 3 couples and we had great time.  I wished that evening would continue but we had to pick up kids and go to bed.
